Insulation is one of the only home improvements that actively pays you back. Between the Federal Government and the Texas utility companies, you can often recoup 20% to 30% of your initial installation cost within the first 6 months.

Federal Law

The Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (25C)

Under the Inflation Reduction Act, homeowners were previously able to claim a 30% tax credit up to $1,200. However, this credit expired on Dec 31, 2025 and is no longer available for 2026 installations. Instead, we help you maximize the Oncor Home Energy Efficiency Program.
Crucial Caveat The 25C credit strictly covers materials only, not the labor to install it. Your contractor must provide an itemized invoice splitting materials from labor.

Oncor Delivery Rebates

If your home's electricity is delivered by Oncor (nearly all of DFW), you are eligible for immediate cash rebates when you cross specific efficiency thresholds. Unlike the tax credit, Oncor rebates are processed directly by your contractor.

  • Must use a registered Oncor Service Provider. We help you navigate this requirement and connect you with qualified crews.
  • Calculated based on the delta (improvement) in R-Value.
